The transitional sentence will help supply the main points of the sermon. Words like "because of" or "how" can often supply the main points. The transitional sentence should include the key word. For example, if you decide to use "because of the results to be gained, every believer should rejoice in suffering," as your transitional sentence, look through the passage for the concept of "results". If none are found, you have the wrong key word.
